ANDERS: STAND-UP COMEDIAN AND COMPÉRE
There
is absolutely no doubt about the fact that BoB Anders is from
Jutland. But hes a Jutlander who even the Copenhageners have
taken to their hearts. BoB himself loves to perform in the capital
because, as he says: "It's so beautifully simple." But deep
down inside he hasn't really got anything against Copenhageners.
To BoB's mind they rank just above his pet hates like advertisements
and DSB. BoB's typical Jutland way of looking at things means
that his performance goes along at a sedate pace but don't be
fooled. Troublesome members of the audience should beware. Behind
the easy-going facade lurks a razor sharp comic mind, which
can soon cut any troublemakers back down to size. Many people
already know him as the compre at big events like the Scanderborg
Festival and rhus Open Air but many more will remember him
from TV2's Puls, where he served up videos and mayhem each day,
as the clumsy Leif, together with the incomparable Ib. The two
of them afterwards became the hosts of TV3's video clips program
"Everything's Under Control". In the 80's BoB was one of the
founding members of the now legendary team of performing waiters
Café Kølbert. In 1995 he received the Theatre and Culture
prize for Joker of the Year, which has previously been awarded
to Finn Nørbygård amongst others.
