Café
Kølbert's shamelessly polite team of waiters humbly awaits
your orders.
We
aim to serve and to please the few and the many, the fat and
the thin, the noble and the commoner, couples and crowds, the
white and the black, children and dogs. With the motto, "It
doesn't matter what you wear as long as you stay sober"
we will provide a standard of service that you will never forget.
If you can just keep hold of your water and your toupee long
enough, our waiting staff guarantees you and your guests an
experience the likes of which you'll never have seen before.
The waiters' deferential service and flashes of inspiration
will make you laugh and make you cry - tears of joy.

Café
Kølbert for your guests' gratification
You
can safely invite your mother or well brought up children. Miss.
Svennevig guarantees that all of her staff are not only clean
but also loyal to their Queen. You can call us from Skagen or
Gedser, from Skåne or St. Croix. Café Kølbert's
waiters for hire are happy to travel to the furthest corners
of the land, to scale the highest peaks and cross the mightiest
rivers just for the pleasure of your company - and they already
keenly anticipate a visit and the chance to do good in your
home.
We
do not offer our services exclusively to Danes. It has come
to our attention that in the enlightened world there continues
to be a surprising ignorance concerning normal table manners
and courtesy. Our dutiful team of waiters feels strongly about
this sad lack of standards. Café Kølbert therefore
recognises that its lot in life is to seek out and remedy such
terrible and inappropriate manners in all the peoples of the
world. To this end, every single one of our staff has spent
a good many winter evenings completing the popular Linguaphone
Courses 'one, deux, drei'. Through these means they have reached
such a level of proficiency that they can now make themselves
understood in English, Swedish, Norwegian and German and moreover
give a rousing rendition of 'Rule Britannia' and 'Guttnacht
Mein Schatz'.
