Café Kølbert on Iceland
Café Kølbert has many times visited this wonderfully beautiful and lava-filled land. At their last engagement the waiting team had the honour of serving the then president, members of the government and the Danish ambassador. Later the whole of this travelling Café Kølbert team was invited for an official visit to the embassy with the ambassador and his wife. This land of hot springs has won a place in our hearts. In the picture you can see some of the team shortly before the geyser shot water 75 meters into the air. Travel tip: When on official visits to embassies abroad it's a good idea to eat well at home before you go.
Mr. Hamborg volunteers to cut a hole in the ice and fish for our dinner.
Relieved and happy, Mr. Frølund arrives in Iceland's capital Reykjavik.
The Reykjavikians were so enamoured of Miss Svennevig and her team that they unhesitatingly erected a statue of Mr. Anton Svennevig just outside the island's youth hostel. This erection was ceremoniously greeted by the people's enthusiastic cheers.
